Nothing Like American Muscle

Nothing like the sound and feel of a big bad rumbling lopping American muscle car to get the blood pumping, if you’ve never had the experience of driving one, then possibly it’s about time you did, how about a Corvette, Mustang, Chevelle or Camaro, some real American muscle, I have had the opportunity to drive every one of these cars, and I love them all, have you ever felt like a god, like nothing could stop you, if not just get behind the wheel of one of these cars and fire up the ignition, the first thing you notice is the lope of the engine.

Then you depress your left foot in to the clutch, and ease the shifter in to first gear, gently ease your right foot in to the throttle pedal, and slowly release the clutch, this beast begins to move forward, you ease in to the pedal a bit more with your right foot, and the car comes to life, pinning you to your seat, as you hit the shift point and press the clutch again, then ease the car in to second gear, and it leaves a black patch on the road as you do, you mash you right foot to the floor, and the car begins to fish tale, you about to learn a lesson about who is really in control.

With all the people in this country that seem to think that import cars are built better, and so many people that just don’t believe in our country any more, I never thought that this day would come, I heard all the whining about these cars that first time around, I still remember t copy of car craft magazine that had a head stone on the front, the head stone read something like this high performance born in 1950; died in 1979, how true it was, and this due to the whiners, like Ralph Nader, the high performance world’s fly in the ointment.
